show calories in week summary
Many thanks Stefan and all the other guys for creating such a fine software. I tried lots of HRM soft, but came finally back to your one. Its just the most useable!
Please add the sum of burnt calories in the week summary. This is good for motivation :-)
Thanks a lot!

Calories in the week summary is a bit problematic, it's an optional input. In my case only 50% of all exercises have this data. When its displayed in the week summary with all the required data, then there's no relation between e.g. the distance and the calories. So it's more confusing than usefull. Another example: one week you have e.g. 300 km distance with calories data and the next week you have 250 km without calories data. You can't compare it, there's no fixed relation.
Do you agree? Bye, Stefan

Oh yah, this sounds like an awesome idea!

Added this as an option and made its display optional. This way if the user finds it confusing they don't have to see it. Also added individual sport summaries. Patch is attached. Not sure if you'll like it or not but hopefully so.

Hello Robert,
I've just tested your patch - it doesn't work. OK, there are the settings in the Options dialog, but they have no effect in the Calendar view.
Anyway, I have some problems with this solution. The cell for the weekly summary is already filled enough, If we only would add the optional calories summary, then the text would be partly invisible. This means not visible at all, although it's displayed or only 50% of the text would be displayed. This would be the case for the window size most people are using. This is quite confusing and it looks buggy.
I have another idea: The week summary text in the cell keeps the same, but we could add a tooltip text as it's done for the exercises itself. This tooltip could have all the interesting weekly summary informations. So the user does not need to open the Statistic dialog anymore to get the data. OK, we can not show all data (the tooltip text must be readable), but the most interesting summary. The other advantage is that we don't need to extend the Option dialog configurations, it's just there when you need it.
But I would not like to add the summary for each sport type of the week to the tooltip text, this would be simply too much informations. If the user really need it, there's the Statistic dialog.
What do you think?
Bye, Stefan
