Unable to to open empress GUI

Hi, I'm unable to open Empress GUI using macOS Monterey (12.6). It keeps saying "empress is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash." (Please see the attachment). I've tried downloading it via both Safari and Google Chromes Screen Shot 2022-10-09 at 9 23 42 PM
