create symbolic links for data and conf in the home directory

The motivation is simply that there are symbolic links for the other 2 folders in the home directory, so why not these two?

I had another possibly crazy idea to make the repos/ folder reside on the host, not exclusively in the VM. This would enable people to 'git pull' a particular repo without even running the VM. I said it was crazy. :)

I think we don't need this change, so I'm closing the issue

It would be useful (at least for developers) to create this symbolic link (at least, until we have another solution). That way the auto-completion will work for both /vagrant/data and data/ (if we are located at $HOME)
