Obsidian style embed queries
Like neuron's z:zettels but using Obsidian's more general syntax https://help.obsidian.md/Plugins/Search#Embed+search+results
- [x] Simple query by tag
- [x] Query by path
- [ ] Combining sub-queries (AND, OR, negation, grouping; see Obsidian manual) (cf. https://github.com/srid/neuron/issues/358)
- [ ] Backlinks?
- [ ] Folgezettel children & parents: https://github.com/srid/emanote/pull/476
- [ ] Advanced queries (rest of Obsidian spec, as appropriate and interesting)
- [ ] #102
See https://github.com/srid/emanote/discussions/48 for ideas / discussion on how Obsidian's own syntax can be extended (either in compatible or incompatible ways).
Just registering my extreme excitement at the prospect of emanote reproducing much of obsidian's querying. I've started to really rely on obsidian's queries and then miss them a lot when I head over to my published ema/neuron site.
Tangential thing to think about: can we go from embed queries to general queries? cf. https://github.com/srid/emanote/discussions/106
+1 for following an existing implementation's lead to avoid format fragmentation
Most folks doing data-driven views in Obsidian seem to use the dataview plugin - it's recommended by https://obsidian.md/#:~:text=Dataview.
It would be nice if there were a more intentional attempt at a proposal for a standard.
