Helping others badge incorrectly unlocks

This may happen because someone can cast a fire spell multiple times to keep increasing the #ofbadgesunlocked variable.

I played around with it and did not see this happen. Where does the badge incorrectly unlock? Or is it after a certain number of spell casts?
