don't think this will ever realistically happen without starting shedskin again from scratch :P (and even then it may not be worth the effort..)

on second thought, I don't think we want to do this. it makes it hard(er) to control what is and what is not compiled, and with minimal advantages..

I don't remember all the details, but they are probably not blocked for nothing.. :) I think type inference doesn't handle ```__iter__``` correctly yet, and there is probably some work...

this will probably never happen, nor is it very useful to keep an open issue for it unless someone wants to work on this (without being triggered by this issue)....

I guess it may be useful sometimes to have code run only when cpython is used, so """ is not sufficient. but I'm not sure if we really need this....
