Gometalinter is deprecated with golangci-lint being replacement. Interest in a PR?

Lookout does not use gometalinter. When it is mentioned in the README is that lookout is compatible with lookout-gometalint-analyzer, which does use gometalinter. There's already an opened issue there to migrate to golanci.

At this moment, we're also reconsidering the future of this project, so let's see how this project evolves.
