#3014 -> A request to "prefer" subtitle types. Throws another layer of complexity in there so I'll need to have a think about how this would fit into my proposal.
There isn't a roadmap. Something we'd like to do but no updates at this time.

Bitmap based subtitles can't have their font changed as they are images. Anything else we support is done on the subtitle itself, or the player it's played back on so...
