NoSleep working on lid, but sleeps after minutes/hours

Mac OSX 10.8.4
2011ish 11" MBA

I have been using NoSleep for over a year now, never had any problems. Now I am 
noticing that when running on batter and/or on power it is not working 
correctly.

I can enable NoSleep and close the lid and it keeps power on, but after a few 
minutes on battery, or a few hours on power, it will go to sleep.

Maybe I'm crazy and I have to change my Energy Saver settings? But I thought 
NoSleep was supposed to override those?

I did a full uninstall and re-downloaded and installed the newest version. same 
thing happens.
