Open GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue 9 years ago • 3 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Installed Nosleep correctly on a Macbook air 2013/Mavericks
2. Set never sleep on both AC and battery, ZZ is running.
3. Close the lid using battery, external screen remains on for a few seconds,
then system goes to sleep.

Please if you know what the problem is, let me know!

I tried to install this on my late 2013 Macbook Air running OSX 10.9 Mavericks,
but receive the following error message:

“NoSleep.mpkg” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified
developer.

You should do a Control-Click to open context menu and click in Open File. So
you will receive the same warning but this time you have an Open button to open
it anyway.

It's a function from Gatekeeper, to avoid automatic installation from
unauthorized sources. You can disable this in your Preferences pane. But you
shouldn't.
