Do you plan to support .net4.0?

I have ported SevenZipSharp to .net 4.0 and .net standard 2.0, this can help more people.

I don't have any active plans to support .NET 4.0 - this request is the first one I've heard of it in the nearly two years since starting this fork.

This fork already supports .NET Standard 2.0, and looking at your branch it looks like you've just replaced 4.5 with 4.0? If I were to add support for 4.0 it would be in addition to 4.5, not as a replacement.

.net 4.0 is outdated, but I think some people are using it. Thank you for your reply!

I also need a 4.0 version for a xp compatible application. I was using SevenZipSharp 0.64.0, which is now deprecated. I get source code, change .net 4.5 to .net 4.0, replace tasks.run and something like uniquelist et voilà. Whare are the cons of keeping .net 4.0 compatibility in main branch ?

It's not really a problem to just make it 4.0 compatible, but rather to ensure all versions build properly at the same time.

I haven't closed this issue, so there's still a chance I'll add it.

And as a side note, it's worrying to hear of someone needing XP compatibility in 2020, but I don't know your life :)
