Thank you for taking the time to write up these changes and improve our SDK!

Unfortunately our SDK is generated, and the changes for this have to be made in the repo that generates the code. Because of that, we can't merge this PR directly.

I have brought up these changes with our SDK team and will come back to update if we decide to bring in these changes.
