Not able to run binary -- zsh: twofa Killed.
I was under the impression that the brew-provided binaries can be used without the need to get an apple developer account. But executing the binary unter macOS 10.15.5 does not work.

Also, the filename mentions mojave, but 10.15.5 is catalina (but according to the README "Built and tested on macOS Catalina 10.15.5.")
Can confirm followed install instructions and macos 10.15.5 gives the same error.
zsh: killed twofa test
Anyone get this to work on Catalina? For various reasons, I can only run a compiled build :/
FWIW I also tried enabling Full Disk Access by dragging it into the Prefs panel. That did not help either.
Wonder if it's a gatekeeper issue .. hmm.
Experiencing the same issue. 10.15.5
same issue with bash, Catalina 10.15.6
danielpops@C02X41BWJG5M:~ [12:50:09] ✗
$ twofa test
Killed: 9
Same. Catalina 10.15.6
Same. Big Sur 11.1, zsh 5.8
fwiw ykman has this option now, if you're Ok with using a Yubikey instead of TouchId —
~ % ykman oath code -s my-favorite-otp
Touch your YubiKey...
