When not having opened an image, it politely tells me to do so first. But before that, why should I?

When opening an image, I can click the colour palette icon to open the image there, so now I have two images opened. Only then I can get back to my code. That's a weird workflow.

Here's my suggestion: When clicking the colour palette icon for the first time, it opens up an empty pane. Then, the filename in the upper-right of the pane should become a dropdown with all the images in the current project. Also, it's better to then put the file dropdown to the left, closer to where most of the action is.
