MLM2Pro Connection Issue
When trying to connect my mlm2pro to the connector I’ve been getting an error saying “Failed to update user token from web api”
I do all the steps outlined including authenticating with awesome golf before trying to connect. Not sure how to fix this
This error is generated when the connector retrieves your Rapsodo user ID from the MLM and then tries to access the Rapsodo API to obtain a token to use in communications with the MLM. Can you confirm your MLM is registered to a valid Rapsodo account? Have you tried restarting the MLM & PC and then trying again. If you continue to have problems you can upload the log file in appdata/logs directory.
I am also encountering this exact issue. I recently bought my MLM2Pro and originally downloaded GSPro with the native Rapsodo connector. This worked right away. Authenticated GSPro in the Rapsodo App, and GSPro worked right away. Whenever I realized I could integrate putting into GSPro with the Springbok Connector, I wanted to switch. I converted my GSPro license to OpenAPI, and I’ve spent the last four hours trying to get it to work. Every time I try connecting, I get this error “Bluetooth Connection Error: Faield to update user token from web API”.
I’ve tried restarting my PC, the MLM2Pro, the Rapsodo App. I’ve tried authenticating it with both GSPro and Awesome Golf (watched Triple Bogies YouTube video and he did it via Awesome Golf), but nothing is working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
As I stated in my previous response this is when the connector is unable to obtain the token from the Rapsodo API, is your Internet connection working? Upload your log file found in appdata\logs subdirectory.
Yes, I have a strong internet connection and bluetooth connection seems strong too - I have my MLM2Pro sitting right next to my laptop (RSSI: -38 and green in the status bar).
Where do I find the log? The Connector is currently installed in a folder titled “Connector” on my desktop. When I got to OS(C:) -> Users -> my username -> AppData (the color of this folder is shaded lighter than the others - not sure if that’s an issue?) -> I then have three choices:
- Local
- LocalLow
- Roaming
LocalLow has the following following folders:
- Unity (GSPro_GSPro is inside - but is empty)
- GSPro
- WebEx)
- Adobe
- Microsoft
- Temp
- webviewdata
- Intel
Are the logs in one of those folders?
Thanks again for the help. Greatly appreciated.
Forgot to update my original comment. My issue was that my wifi disconnected from my computer and I didn’t notice lol.
Currently use the connector a few times per week and I only ever get the “Failed to update user token from web API” if I’m not connected to the internet when setting up the connector
I wish it were that simple for me. I really hope I can get some help on figuring this out - super bummed that it’s not working :(
The appdata folder should be a sub folder in the Connector folder, ie in the same folder where you have the connector installed.Sent from my iPhoneOn 21 May 2025, at 1:11 am, Jwmellinger @.***> wrote: Jwmellinger left a comment (springbok/MLM2PRO-GSPro-Connector#188) Yes, I have a strong internet connection and bluetooth connection seems strong too - I have my MLM2Pro sitting right next to my laptop (RSSI: -38 and green in the status bar). Thanks, I found it! Here it is. Let me know if you have any issues opening it. Hoping this is an easy fix!

Are you able to access the site via browser: Rapsodo API
Could it be your firewall or anti virus software stopping access to the site?
This is what shows up when I open it in my browser.
Would the Spingbok Connector interact differently than the Native MLM2Pro connector with my firewall / anti-virus? Using the native connector, my LM always connected right away once I authenticated it in the Rapsodo app.
This is an issue when the connector is communicating with the Rapsodo API, for some reason it thinks the API endpoint does not have a valid certificate. The connector is connecting to the LM without any issues. This could be a issue with the connector and your antivirus as well, are you able to add the connector as an exception to your antivirus.
Its also possible the certificate bundle installed with the connector has a problem, you could try to reinstall the connector and try again.
