Consider adding support for multiple sessions for a single user

Open vpavic opened this issue 7 years ago • 10 comments

As a part of simplifications of integration with the Servlet APIs that was done in #906, the existing support for multiple sessions for a single user was removed. We should consider re-introducing this feature based on the new API while also taking into account the reactive support.

@rwinch, I see you've removed this issue from the General Backlog. I assume that means the google-like multi-session functionality is not possibly with Spring Session and won't be implemented going forward? If this is the case, are you aware of any side projects which integrate to fill the functionality gap?
