Agreed, when ApacheDS 2.0 is GA, this dependency should probably be upgraded. As a side note I made an attempt on this on the latest available 2.0-Milestone version about 1,5 years ago, and came to the conclusion that it was virtually impossible (at least very, very complicated) to programmatically start an in-process ApacheDS server at that time, so I gave it up for the time being.

@aburmeis We need to wait until ApacheDS 2.x goes GA as the milestones are not production ready and there have been breaking changes in the milestones.
