Support case-insensitive sorting

Sort.Order has a flag ignoreCase to enable case-insensitive sorting. However, this flag is ignored when applying pagination with sorting. Is it possible to implement this?

Thanks for suggesting this enhancement proposal. Case-insensitive sorting is a great idea and @mipo256 started a draft Pull Request. We feel that this topic requires a bit more design and research before we can come up with an idea how to implement case-insensitive sorting. We don't just want to limit ourselves to case-insensitive sorting like it is done in JPA (letter-case transformations). SQL allows for a wide range of variants including collations and we don't want to require additional indices just for the sake of satisfying the needs of our framework but rather meet users where they are with their setups.

This ticket is a good opportunity to learn how case-sensitivity (and collation) arrangements are set up to come up with a good approach for a wide range of production setups.
