Tool calling support in IBM WatsonX

According to this feature matrix, IBM watsonx does not support tool calling.

From their documentation, it looks like watsonx supports tool calling.

So three questions:

1. Is tool calling for watsonx in pipeline?
2. Any tentative timeline for this?
3. If I were to put together something on my own, any pointers on how i should go about that?
