IT tests for scaling disabled

ℹ️ Disclaimer: This ticket is vague - it was created in place of an item on the Trello board.

I believe it is around the scaling tests that are currently disabled. @tzolov has some background w/ them and the intention was to reach out to him for guidance OR that he was going to take care of them - not sure which one though.
