Feature Request: selection areas and magic wand

There should be the additional ability to select an area of a layer or object that can separate it out like you see in MSPaint, Photoshop, etc. not sure how to implement this on a touchscreen though. Also, the magic wand would be very useful. It selects pixels in the same area that are of the same color with a specified degree of tolerance. This is also seen in Photoshop.

This is implemented pretty nicely (magic wand type tool) in ios Keynote app. You can select a color and then a percent similarity and then it'll select all the contiguous areas that within that percentage range of that color. Good for isolating objects from pictures.
