Area chart tweaks

1. Added config to change orientation of x-axis labels - 45 degree or vertical. Right now, 45 degrees is default. Horizontal is now not possible, as labels clash too quickly in all but the most basic instances.
2. Better calculation for the number of labels/ticks to show.
