Reproduction Steps

These mods does not work together, crashing without starting the game.

The author of Better Foliage states in the issue tracker and in the comments of their mod that "there's no support for Optifine or Sodium yet.". They were referring to Fabric, but it's likely a similar reason to why there's a crash with Sodium-Forge.
