Pease use golang 1.21. This issue is caused by a version mismatch. I guess that, to fix it you need to remove the controller-gen binary and go mod cache.

You can also access the minio instance and check if the model is really on the bucket mentioned. Plus make sure to use the correct yaml path for the storageUri,...

When a s3 role is provided, it is expected that it does have the minimal one, which is `s3:GetObject`. But indeed, it is a good addition to the docs.
