steam_files directory not found.

I have steam on different disk. I wonder which "steam_files" do I need to copy to the directory?

Initially I was supposed to write a helper .bat script which would copy the necessary files into the right directories, however I never got around it.

Anyway, the installation is straight-forward: (assuming Steam is using 64-bit version of cef)

1. build the solution for x64 target
2. follow the steps from "Custom ABP filters" section
3. copy version.dll and ABPFilterParserData.dat to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\cef\cef.win7x64\ (make sure version.dll is compiled for x64 - you can use VS dumpbin for that)
4. restart Steam

However, be warned that I haven't really worked on this in years and last time I tested it, it didn't work quite right - ads weren't totally blocked, especially those YouTube preroll ads

Oh i was about to ask the same thing you might wanna remove that from the instructions to prevent confusion 😵 Thats too bad that its a bit faulty, the browser is nice but Fandom fills their site with ads so its easier to just go to the main desktop to look up information somtimes than deal with it
