The default Galleriffic plugin isn't used widely. Gallery would be much more popular if several modal window plugins were included. Think of lightBox, http://leandrovieira.com/projects/jquery/lightbox/, or Colorbox: http://colorpowered.com/colorbox/.

Nice! Though I'd love to see Slimbox (http://www.digitalia.be/software/slimbox2) being included as a standard plugin in Gallery. It works with jQuery and it's very light: less than 4kb! It should be very easy to configure, in my opinion.

hi, i've written for my needs some plugins, ie. jcarousel with photos opened by lightbox, or great fullscreen gallery supersized. I'm thinking about sharing it, if anyone is interested please tell me - [email protected]. Also when i'll finally have some time i will post it on github ;)
