missing currency: New Taiwan Dollar (TWD/NT$)
Hello, this is pretty straighforward; I would like to use New Taiwan Dollar as the main currency for a group in Spliit for an upcoming trip. The only option at this moment is to set the main currency as 'Custom', however I would like to be able to make some entries in other currencies as well and use the currency conversion feature, which is not possible with the main currency set to 'custom'. Thanks!
Unfortunately, this isn't as straightforward as it would seem. The project we rely on to get the exchange rates is Frankfurter, which currently only gets its currencies from the European Central Bank's Euro foreign exchange reference rates and doesn't include TWD :/
It seems other people have also created issues for TWD specifically in the frankfurter repository, but no response from the developers. (see here, here, and here)
The only solution I see is that we need to find a different open and free to use API that someone else made which does support more currencies than this. We could technically pull together other sources of exchange rates and build the whole thing ourselves, but that would be quite complex.
