21:9 resolutions displayed at 16:9

I have a 3440x1440 monitor and when I use Ray2Fix to set the games resolution to 3440x1440 the game is still displayed at 16:9 with black bars on the sides but the resolution seems to have been changed properly since the fov is increased but the game is squished into the 16:9 box.

I think the game should stretch to fullscreen.
