pause/resume

I've been trying to do a pause/resume recording with no success, could you give me a start point to try?

You as a developer control when frames are pushed into the frame encoder.

If you mean if you can run in real-time, grab some frames with ccapture, go back to real-time, grab some more frames with ccapture, etc. I'm afraid is not possible right now.
