Indirect lighting
It might be worth looking into various methods of indirect lighting to enhance the visual quality of the shader pack. Personally, I recommend using Horizon Based Indirect Lighting, but other methods like Reflective Shadow Map work as well. I remember seeing a paper on HBIL that I will link you to if I can find it.
