Have the same issue. Installed specify but no change in appearance is visible on the spotify application.
i don't think spicetify officially supports 1.1.94 yet?
Same issue. ETA on when spicetify will support this version? Also is there a way to block updates to prevent this from happening?

It works just as expected on Windows with the same version number so I can't really replicate the issue. If anyone has the issue and are able to fix it feel free to make a PR, but if all goes well, the Windows version should have the same issue next update and I'll look into it then.

[windows 10 machine] Sorry I didn't specify the details about it. I am using Spotx and spicetify(then with 1.1.94) together and then they were clashing together as spotx was not blocking ads 1.It can be issue with the 1.5 release of spotx(as it started using its own patch) and not spicetify. 2.But! i do see spicetify not being able to themes properly mainly dribblish after 1.1.92 3.Now i am using bts patch by using spotx and spicetify together at 1.1.92.644.g1de7dc5f and it works pretty well. 4.Another different error I get is color.ini file cannot be opened.when the themes are installed manuallu as per instructions (this error seems to only mention in 2021 and not in FAQ) (should i open a issue or a discussion)themes that have this error afaik are Comfy and Marketplace.
Update for 1. i.e. with spotx with its own patch(modifies xpui.js) it does not work with even 1.1.92 and 1.1.87 either but with spotx with bts pacth(edits hosts?) patch it works.[bts patch supports 1.1.94.870.gf994cb0b] themes still not works with spicetify over 1.1.92.644.g1de7dc5f

u can use Spotx just to block updates or do it manually so just to save some labor use that batch file above [oops I didn't notice the author of issue was using MacOS(OSX)]
Compatibility with another client modifier has never been our priority, other than that, head to the Discord server for support.

I'm on OSX, apple silicon.
@nevzatseferoglu Would you mind running spicetify restore backup apply
, afterwards take a screenshot of your Spotify client with the profile menu opened? (the dropdown menu that appears when you click on your profile card/image on top-right)
Thanks for the fix, I could not have a chance to share the requested image, sorry about that @kyrie25 !

I supposed that the new PR solves the issue. I haven't got a chance to try it out yet.
i'm on osx, and not too savvy with code. could you upload a working exec for arm?
@kyrie25 @alucardontop I reinstalled both spotify and specitify, It looks like the problem still exists.
