Yes it can happen that some directory names conflict. Would be best to generate random named dirs.

zpoller_test random crash on windows

We've seen random crashes before on Windows but we're missing more windows devs who can trace this and provide a fix.

implicit declaration of function ‘pthread_setname_np’

No idea. I think it's mostly fixing POSIX shortcomings. I actually think we should revert using pthread_setname_np. It's just a hardly used convenience.
