Beware of SCAMs! "funds recovery", "help centers", "live support" are all scams
This is an issue tracker for tracking bugs and development. Anyone mentioning telegram/whatsapp numbers, providing email addresses and redirecting people to 3rd party websites, is most likely a SCAMMER.
There is no private support, Electrum is a free/libre open source project, we do not have the resources for that. If you have a problem and there is an existing issue about it, comment there; if you cannot find an existing issue about it, feel free to open a new issue. Issues and comments are publicly visible, and the community or developers will reply. Be extremely suspicious of anyone offering help in a non-public way. Scammers will want to chat with you in private as then other people will not get a chance to point out the scam.

Beware: There is a phishing Electrum Core. They have a YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLLcCKGnbnQ so please report the video and channel. They also created a fork on Github with only one change: author name https://github.com/michaeltrevino800/electrum So please report the repository too.
I've added a warning about this in the issue template, in https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/commit/2d6ad49a38eaef01c12b684839cdc8c57486be1a.
but I think we can still keep this issue pinned, to increase visibility. Also note that the issue template will only be seen by users who open the issues, but the potential victim pool includes other people too.

Hello, I found my Bitcoin from 2013 but it has the old seed phrase , how do I recover and gain control of it. Most of the wallets are now using the new seed phrase mnemonics that started from 2014 Help !please !
