formatting cheatsheet

Open vanodevium opened this issue 7 months ago • 3 comments

I created such a helper script, it will be convenient to generate markdown tables and put in the wiki for clarity, or upload this data to website as doc page.

Is it useful?

hey, clever idea! did you want to just add the output to the formatting wiki page? Or maybe it should be a new page in observable? Happy to work together on this. cheers

@spencermountain

Glad you liked it. At the very least, it would be great to add this output to the wiki, with a direct links from the README.

After that it would be greate to make a separate page or section on the site, with a search for formats by description, grouping by date/time/name/unix topics, so that the user could easily find and understand how to use the library correctly.

example of cool docs page

And a space trick: add the ability to perform formatting at runtime, directly online on the site. Like a constructor.

hey Vano - cool. I think you can just add things to the wiki without a PR. Let me know if I'm wrong about that. That would avoid having to change the exports. I agree the website needs some work. I don't even remember where the code is for that.

Ya, that website is beautiful. it's also so fast and clear. Thanks for sharing it. Oh yeah, the website is on the gh-pages branch. It was made a hundred years ago on vue2. I don't have the capacity to do any real work on it, but welcome some help. cheers
