Please consider adding the following features for better user experience

  1. Read-only mode for files (currently spotting obvious bugs is tough for large files, keeping aside the possibilities of accidentally introducing new ones. Read only mode would solve that)
  2. Asynchronous search operations (current search operations make the editor unresponsive)
