Local files not opening in spck editor

There was a time this app used to open files that even my phone could not open. I loved that feature. But now, I don't know if they closed that feature or my phone is buggy 😅 I don't know. When I try to open a file from my file manager and tap spck from the file picker, it opens the spck editor with no content in it. It is just a blank page. I know there is content but cannot see it 🫤

My android version: 6.0.1 Spck build: 7.0.4.0
