Ray License is found to not have been activated when working offline & stays invalid.
Ray: 2.8.1 Was working without the license "nag" form until this morning 1 hour ago.
Please see the attached for the message, minus the key.
Also, I am NOT able to exit from Ray. It keeps Ray running even when I right click & click Quit.
And I did try to update the license but it says I have the latest version.
I have the same problem. Working on a plane, I'm getting this message and the only option is Force Quit Ray.
@lcallif Strange that this is happening. Have you tried deactivating the ray license on the Spatie website through your Spatie account? After deactivation, you can link it back and the error message should disappear.
@pedro-vasconcelos We are aware of the issues people are having on planes. It's a difficult one to reproduce and once we have more room in our planning, we'll start working on solutions for this.
As our previous message mentioned. We had to make the difficult decision to put Ray on hold due to ongoing client commitments. We genuinely want to keep developing the desktop application, but our team has been fully tied up with customer work in recent months.
We’ve communicated to our clients that Ray’s development is paused for Q3, and our goal is to pick things back up in Q4. The project is definitely not abandoned, just delayed longer than we’d like.
