SOFA file created from tutorial not readable by MATLAB API

Using this code you provide, I am unable to load the created SOFA file, nor a GeneralTF SOFA file I created myself, with the MATLAB SOFA API. The error thrown in MATLAB points to problems with netcdf.getatt when handlng the attribute 'Type', but it is thus far unclear why.
