[Feature Request - Sparrow Desktop] Provide Sparrow Server status information on Sparrow Desktop
Feature Request
A remote Sparrow Server as a 24/7 back-end for mixing and Sparrow GUI on the desktop for the main interactions like sending and managing funds is a fantastic concept.
It would be even better, if Sparrow Server could open a tor hidden service (or if that's a big issue to implement, listen on a specific port so that the user can create the hidden service on that port) so that the local Sparrow GUI can fetch status information about the remote instance or control it rudimentary (no important functions due to security concerns in the case of a leak of the onion-address).
Reasoning
- Access to the remote machine might be too inconvenient and/or slow (e.g. due to security set-up) for a quick check on Sparrow Servers status -> fast debugging status through main Sparrow Desktop GUI (e.g. connectivity of remote Sparrow Server, which wallets are open, etc)
Use case
E.g. rn I have the problem, that my Sparrow Server seems to disconnect from the fulcrum indexer (on same machine and humming along pretty well) after some time. I'm not sure if that's a sparrow related issue or if I need to configure my fulcrum differently (if I go into the Preferences->Server->Edit and click through and hit <Done>, Sparrow Server tries to connect and almost instantly has the connection. So not sure why it fails to connect without manually kicking this off?!
The point is, it would be pretty convenient to have a setting page in which one could plug an onion address in and a tab in the Sparrow Gui where it shows the current status of the Sparrow Server listening on that onion address
