mtime wrong

When I connect to ftp by FileZilla for example, I get a know modified datetime from a file, but when I receive a list by ls command, the mtime doen´t match the date.

Example: The file was modified at 2016-12-02 21:27:00 and the mtime is 1512268020000.

If I convert it, I get Sun, 03 Dec 2017 02:27:00 GMT

sorry this has taken so long to get back to this, if you are still around, do you know what FTP service you use? I.e. pure-ftpd, vsftpd?
