Checksums or similar for critical commands

Hello, Would you please consider requiring a checksum, or at least a duplicate byte, for critical commands? For example, if a bit flip causes the 'change I2C address' command to be called, the hardware that uses the device is no longer usable. End users can't be expected to fix such a problem, either. The commands, as they stand now, have this introduced source of unreliability. Thanks! James
