Hello, matrix-registration version in playbook is 0.7.2 and latest available version is 0.9.1. Could you update it in playbook, please?

Note "why not send PR instead": matrix-registration api has been changed a lot (different endpoints, even different http verbs for the same things) and I'm not sure I can send PR with enough quality to be merged without issues :)

I have no experience with ansible playbooks, but I would love to see matrix-registration updated as well.

We've done our job so far. You should bother people upstream to release a new matrix-registration and/or fix the issues we're hitting.
