I think only the classic map is supported (and Pure, because it's a subset of the regions).

I tried to add support for Ancient Mediterranean a while back, but nothing came of it: https://github.com/spamguy/dipl.io/issues/47

@spamguy has been working on a newer UI using vue, but I don't know how near to ready this is.

@scotchtape22 @tttppp Hey there!

Unfortunately this was developed before Godip supported variants, and my approach is unsustainable in its current form. It assumes I spend the time to match new Godip variant releases ASAP, which I can't guarantee.

The repo over at spamguy/vue-dipl.io is my current effort to rewrite the client with Godip's latest features in mind, variant agnostic behavior particularly. I keep a semi-recent build at https://dev.dipl.io.

That said, I am also unwillingly jobless with a child at home during summer vacation, so development has been limited lately. :) I'm hoping to get back into it in the next month. Feel free to post feature wants in the other repo in the meantime!

Keeping this ticket open, because there should be some sort of notice to the user that certain variants are unplayable.

Hi spamguy!

Thanks for the detailed update. I didn't realise there was a dev deployment of the new diplio. I've been checking back now and again to see what the latest changes have been in your vue repo, but it's hard to gauge how near to 'working' it is just from the commit messages.

Best of luck finding your next job. Hopefully you can enjoy some of the vacation!
