strun <alias> fails if a folder has the same name as the alias

From H.Bushouse: In trying strun calwebb_image3 asn.json, and error of cannot find calwebb_image3.cfg was produced. More:

The alias worked fine from other directories, so a detailed inspection of what was special about the directory where I got the error revealed that I had a subdirectory there called "calwebb_image3". So apparently it was looking into that subdirectory and getting itself all messed up. After renaming that subdirectory to something that is NOT an exact match to one of our aliases, it works fine again.
