Making this compatible with multi channel / multi dimensional array

Currently, the package is based on image files (3 channel). Researchers might need multiple bands .. e.g 1 band for infrared hurricane dataset, all the way to 13 bands for EuroSat dataset. Hence would request making this package compatible.
