Cannot run in macos 10.13.6

I have an older Mac mini that does not support Catalina. When I run lan-play-macos it aborts the process telling me it only supports macos 10.15. Is there any way to make it run in an older version of Mac?

brew install switch-lan-play

I just did it. And it still toss me the error Abort Trap:6
