Could you please send more information about this, I checked here and the build process is already creating a dmg file with the correct image.

I mean a DMG background image along the lines of this. If @jamiepine does up a background in Figma like the background to the landing page it will make the DMG look way better.

First one looks pretty good, I'd prefer less blank space around the outside. Also higher contrast on the 'Drag & Drop' text.

Maybe more padding around the arrow as well?

Also the colours for the arrow are off.

How about this? Using an icon from our existing icon pack and with hint text based on our existing typography style. The background is based on the landing's home page design.

(It's worth noting, this is a mockup and the icons' sizes and labels are not necessarily identical to how they would be displayed in the actual OS.)
