Switching to some article styles produce a broken rendering until restart

Steps to reproduce
For example if we switch article style from another style to the compact one while holding the phone in portrait mode, the rendering is very weird. Then if we kill the application and reopen it, rendering is different and much more consistent.
Expected behaviour
It should directly render the way it's supposed to without having to kill and reopen the application.
Current behaviour
Some article style might need to restart the application completely to render the way they should. Maybe the same would apply between landscape and portrait, I don't know. I think further reports on rendering of the different article styles would need this to be fixed first.

- Show thumbnails

Sure, of these everything is still on default values, which means:

How it looks after changing the article styles to compact from another style without restarting the application:

Note that the repro rate is not 100%, and that it seems to depends on the article style we switched from. Pictures on the right when rendering is incorrect also looks squeezed.
EDIT: Issue can also apply to other article styles, and I might have noticed other things I'd report issues for, but I think that one needs to be understood and fixed first to be sure about any other thing.
