Host system can get horribly slow if node encounters error.

Basically the title, If the server encounters an error, the system becomes horribly slow. I use Xubuntu to host my instance, and when I saw an error pop up, both SSH and XORG became horribly slow and the system was at an unusable state. Is this my system or is this because I let fosscord use eight threads by default? I'm not sure.

Could it be that your system ran out of memory? Because thats what it sounds like.

That sounds right, given JavaScript is a garbage collected language.

Yes but that doesnt prevent a system from running out of ram.
