About the PR

Adds a locator for nukes that works much like the anomaly locator. It will also sense the decoy nuke, because funny. It has quite a wide range as well.

Prevents round stalling elegantly.

Well, then the decoy nuke isn't much of a decoy and I think this is a more KISS solution really.

But I think there is another PR for changes to the pinpointer to allow something like what you describe at https://github.com/space-wizards/space-station-14/pull/23555 which is in limbo.

i mean i was never under the impression the "decoy" nuke was meant to seriously trick people or be a diversion of some kind.

it seems kinda strange to give nukies two separate tracking items that they now need to manage instead of just bundling them

You're not wrong, but I also don't see the harm in this existing. At least for the tracking thing its mildly justifiable by the tracking methods being different. The pointer is very exact, while this is much less so.
